Sticker Visa

  • Mexico generally issues a sticker visa, which is physically affixed in the passport after approval by the Embassy / Consulate of Mexico. Travelers who require a visa must apply in advance before travel through the official visa process.
  • The Mexico sticker visa is commonly issued for tourism, business visits, family visits, transit, study, work, and other approved travel purposes, depending on the visa category requested.
  • Applicants are usually required to complete the visa application form, submit supporting documents, provide photographs, and attend an appointment/interview as per current embassy requirements.
  • The visa validity, number of entries (single/multiple), and permitted stay duration depend on the visa type granted and the decision of Mexican authorities.
  • Even with an approved visa, final entry into Mexico is subject to immigration clearance at the port of entry.

Previous Immigration Issues

Yes, you can reapply after rejection. However, you should:
  • Identify the reason for the rejection.
  • Correct the errors or provide additional documents before reapplying.
  • Wait for a reasonable period before resubmitting (unless the embassy specifically advises otherwise).
