Got questions?

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

01Are there altitude sickness concerns?

03How is the connectivity in Sikkim (Internet & Mobile)?
  • Answer. Mobile networks like Jio, Airtel, BSNL work well in Gangtok and major towns.
  • In remote areas (North Sikkim), connectivity is poor or sometimes unavailable. Wi-Fi is available in most hotels in Gangtok.
04What is the best time to visit Sikkim?
Answer. The best time is March to June (spring/summer) and September to December (autumn/winter). The weather is pleasant and ideal for sightseeing. Avoid the monsoon months (July–August) due to heavy rainfall and landslides.
