Great Zimbabwe

Only a short walk away from the Monument itself, the hotel has its own tradition, the African Sun tradition of a warm welcome and top quality products and service. Within the grounds of the National Museums and Monuments, commanding a magnificent view of the Great Zimbabwe Monument, lies Great Zimbabwe Hotel. With its architectural character that reflects the ancient design elements of the granite stone block work of the Monuments, and a myriad of cultural and historical riches within close proximity, this hotel offers the opportunity for a unique and exciting getaway. The hotel is made up of 38 neat rooms all with wall to wall carpeting. One significant feature of all the rooms at Great Zimbabwe Hotel is their spacious and roomy layout. All rooms are decorated with quaint conservative furniture that gives them a modest and homely feel. There are a range of different room setups from single rooms designed for one person, double rooms with either twin beds or a double bed. The standard rooms and single rooms overlook a lush garden courtyard with bright country flower beds, shrubs and creepers. The hotel has one bar and one restaurant and both carry the homely and welcoming feel that resonates throughout the hotel. Staff at both outlets are genuinely passionate about their service and because of the small size of the hotel, can afford to give you a truly personalised service offering.
