Every room is thoughtfully equipped with its own private sink, offering extra comfort and convenience even with shared bathroom facilities. Start your day with our breakfast buffet, including freshly made waffles, before heading out on Arctic adventures. Guests can also relax in our communal areas, use the shared kitchen with fridge and all necessary appliances on the second floor, and purchase snacks and drinks on-site. A restaurant is conveniently located just across the street. What truly sets us apart is our personal service: we are always happy to help you plan and book all tours and activities - from dogsledding and snowmobile trips to boat excursions and guided hikes, so you can enjoy the Arctic without stress. Our location is also ideal for Northern Lights viewing during the polar night. The town center is a 25-min walk from Gjestehuset 102 with attractions such as the Svalbard Museum and the Svalbard Church within easy reach. At Gjestehuset 102, you’re not just booking a room; you’re staying with people who truly care about your experience! We do not offer a luxury stay but a 5-star experience in the arctic. When booking 5 or more rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply. Cancellation Term for small Group Bookings (10-20 pax, max 2 nights stay) Cancellation made 31 days prior to arrival is refunded 100 percent. Cancellation made 30 days or fewer prior to arrival is not refunded. Only written cancellation is valid. All bank transfers, other financial transaction fees, booking and cancellation fees will be deducted from refunds. No refunds will be given due to flight cancellation, lack of a valid driver’s license, lack of passport, or illness. We recommend our customers to have travel insurance. Payment term for Large Group Bookings, Tour Operators, Organizations (21 pax and up) When ordering, we will send out an invoice for an advance payment of 25 percent of the total amount, due within 10 days. If not paid, the booking will be canceled. The remaining 75 percent must be paid at least 70 days before arrival. If the booking is less than 70 days before arrival, we will send out an invoice for the total amount. The invoice fee of 75 NOK will be added to each international invoice. Cancellation made 89-61 days prior to arrival is refunded 50 percent. Cancellation made 60 days or fewer prior to arrival is not refunded. Only written cancellation is valid. All bank transfers, other financial transaction fees, booking and cancellation fees will be deducted from refunds.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
