The Coniston Shooting Ground One of the best shooting grounds in the country, The Coniston Shooting Ground was awarded Premier Plus Ground status by the Clay Pigeon Shooting Association. The breath-taking Canadian lodge is home to an open log fire – perfect to warm up next to in the winter months. Whether you are a member or visiting for an experience, you will be made very welcome by Peter and his team. Fishing on The Coniston Estate Take a step out of the rigours of day to day life and unwind at the waterside of our stunning 24 acre lake. Whether you are an expert angler and know a Hares-Ear from a Hawthorne or a total beginner, we are ready to cater to all your possible needs. Our fantastic range of boats and bank fishing locations make us an ideal choice for a wonderful day out with family or friends. Available 1 April – 31 October. Four Legged Friends We are a dog friendly hotel and have rooms that are suitable for dogs. Upon booking please contact Reception on 01756 748080 who will allocate you a dog friendly room if required. Please note, there is a supplement charge and dogs must not be left alone in their room under any circumstances.
