New Inn at Coln

Nestled in the pretty Gloucestershire village of Coln St Aldwyns, this beautiful country inn offers a garden overlooking meadows and elegant, individually designed rooms with modern amenities. Featuring ancient oak beams, fine fabrics and luxurious beds, rooms are full of character. They include a flat-screen satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, a power shower or roll-top bath and either terrace or meadow views. There is a bar and restaurant on site serving traditional pub food and a sun terrace and garden for al fresco dining. The charming village was voted 7th ‘most desirable in the country’ by Country Life Magazine. Guests can try fly-fishing on the River Coln, which is a 5-minute walk away, whilst Cirencester is a 10-minute drive away. The village of Bibury is just 5 minutes by car. The New Inn is a characterful old building with rural and historic charm. Due to the nature of our lovely building we are unable to prevent the possibility of sound travelling between rooms. We like to think that the odd creaky floorboard or quirky plumbing noise is part of the charm of staying in a historic building, but we ask you to bear in mind that silence is not guaranteed in our bedrooms. If you would like to dine with us, please refer directly to our website for the most up-to-date bar and kitchen opening times. Please note that the majority of our rooms are not designated as dog-friendly. Guests wishing to stay with a dog must contact our reservations team in advance, prior to making a booking, to confirm the availability of a designated dog-friendly room. Any approved dog stay will be subject to an additional charge of £30.00 per dog, per stay. In the absence of such prior confirmation, we reserve the right to refuse access to the room upon arrival with a pet. The property shall not be liable for any costs, expenses, losses, or inconvenience incurred as a result of non-compliance with this requirement, including but not limited to the cost of alternative accommodation. In the event of a lost or unreturned room key at check-out, a charge of £40.00 will be applied. Parking is subject to availability due to limited spaces. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. You are advised to bring your own vehicle as this property is not serviced by public transport.
