About this hotel
Perched above a sheltered bay between Looe and Polperro, Talland Bay is the luxury Cornwall hotel that winks at convention.
Wake up to sea breezes and sweeping views of the deepest blue, stroll straight onto the South West Coast Path, or pop into Looe or Polperro – both are less than ten minutes by car or a scenic coastal walk away. Fowey and the Eden Project are just a little further along the coast. We’re one of Cornwall’s most dog-friendly hotels too, so your four-legged friend needn’t miss out on the adventures this summer.
Crowned ‘Restaurant of the Year – Silver’ at the Cornwall Tourism Awards 2025, our Two AA-Rosette restaurant champions local Cornish produce with flare and a touch of theatre. Fresh scallops, seasonal tasting menus and afternoon teas full of indulgence are served with sea views, a good wine list and even our very own gin and tonic.
Our 20 rooms are all delightfully unique, each with its own theme and décor, but all promise the same unforgettable place to rest your head. Swap ordinary for extraordinary this summer and discover for yourself why we were voted ‘Small Hotel of the Year’ for 2025. Please note this property does not have a lift.
