After breakfast, drive to Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir. En route, visit the historic Awantipora Temple, built by King Avantivarman, after whom the town of Awantipora is named. The temple is often mistakenly referred to as the “Pandavas’ Place” because of the stone materials used in its construction, but its true history is inscribed within its walls. Notably, the temple is said to have sunk almost 20 feet below the ground, with only the top portion visible today. This architectural marvel is a testimony to ancient craftsmanship and history.   • We will not be held responsible for any delays in rail/airline leading to misconnecting of onward flights/train.
  • If any airline/train is delayed or cancelled, Oxford Travels is not responsible for any compensation for hotels, meals, sightseeing or any other claim.

To book any Domestic Holiday or travel services, a person has to make an initial non-refundable deposit of Rs. 2,499/- per person. In case a person want to book air-tickets / train tickets as part of his tour package, 100% payment is required as the time of booking. Balance payment is to be paid at least 15 days prior to date of departure. 

Cancellation Rules: Cancellations of a tour package must be intimated to us in writing / Email & cancellation charges applicable are as follows: 

  • 21 Days or more prior to the departure or non-payment of balance amount- Rs.2,499/- per person.
  • 20-15 Days prior to the departure 25% of the tour cost.
  • 14-07 Days prior to the departure of the tour 50% of the total tour cost.
  • 07-04 Days prior to the departure of the tour 75% of the total tour cost.
  • 03 Days prior or a “No Show” on the tour 100% of the total tour cost.

For the cancellation of services other than tour package (such as air-tickets/train-tickets/cruises/safaris, etc) booked with Oxford Travels will attract cancellation charges as per the policy of respective supplier of the services. Oxford Travels does not take responsibility for fees relating to the issuance and / or cancellation of air tickets or other arrangements not done through Oxford Travels.
