On arrival at Jammu Railway Station or Jammu Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and assisted with your transfer to Patnitop. The journey offers scenic views of rolling hills and lush greenery, providing a relaxing start to your trip. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and spend the rest of the day enjoying the serene mountain environment, taking short walks, or simply soaking in the fresh air. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Patnitop.

Srinagar
After breakfast, drive to Srinagar, enroute visiting the historic Awantipora Temple, built by King Awanti Varman, from whom the town derives its name. This ancient temple is often mistakenly referred to as the “Pandavas’ place” because the stones used in its construction resemble those associated with the Pandavas; however, its true history is inscribed within the temple itself. The structure is believed to have sunk nearly 20 feet below the ground, leaving only the upper portion visible today. After exploring this remarkable site, continue your journey to Srinagar. In the evening, check in at your hotel and relax. Overnight stay at Srinagar.

After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg, famously known as the “meadow of wildflowers.” Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, this scenic destination offers breathtaking views, and on a clear sunny day, you can even glimpse Nanga Parbat in the distance. Gulmarg is a premier winter sports and ski resort and is also home to one of the world’s highest 18-hole golf courses. Visitors can enjoy the Gulmarg Gondola (cable car) up to Khilanmarg, which is Asia’s longest cable car ride, stretching approximately 5 km (activity at own cost). Visit Chashme Shahi (Royal Spring), Nishat (Gardens of Pleasure), and Shalimar (Abode of Love) – collectively known as the Mughal Gardens, laid out by the great Mughals in the 16th century along the banks of Dal Lake in the heart of Srinagar. Next, visit the Shankaracharya Temple, perched on a hillock, offering panoramic views of the city, Dal Lake, and River Jhelum. Enroute, stop at local handloom centres, renowned for the production of Pashmina and suit shawls, as well as world-famous carpets. To book any Domestic Holiday or travel services, a person has to make an initial non-refundable deposit of Rs. 2,499/- per person. In case a person want to book air-tickets / train tickets as part of his tour package, 100% payment is required as the time of booking. Balance payment is to be paid at least 15 days prior to date of departure. 

Cancellation Rules: Cancellations of a tour package must be intimated to us in writing / Email & cancellation charges applicable are as follows: 

  • 21 Days or more prior to the departure or non-payment of balance amount- Rs.2,499/- per person.
  • 20-15 Days prior to the departure 25% of the tour cost.
  • 14-07 Days prior to the departure of the tour 50% of the total tour cost.
  • 07-04 Days prior to the departure of the tour 75% of the total tour cost.
  • 03 Days prior or a “No Show” on the tour 100% of the total tour cost.

For the cancellation of services other than tour package (such as air-tickets/train-tickets/cruises/safaris, etc) booked with Oxford Travels will attract cancellation charges as per the policy of respective supplier of the services. Oxford Travels does not take responsibility for fees relating to the issuance and / or cancellation of air tickets or other arrangements not done through Oxford Travels.
