Upon arrival at NJP/Bagdogra, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative, who will drive you to Gangtok (1,437 m) and assist with hotel check-in. Freshen up and relax before heading out in the evening for a leisurely stroll along MG Marg, the heart of Gangtok’s shopping and dining scene. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After a relaxed breakfast, depart around 8:00 AM for Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft / 3,750 m) and Baba Harbhajan Mandir (13,200 ft / 4,000 m). The drive passes through scenic mountainous landscapes, making the journey enjoyable. Tsomgo Lake, a sacred high-altitude lake, captivates visitors with its pristine beauty and seasonal charm—frozen in winter and surrounded by colorful flowers in spring. Next, visit Baba Harbhajan Mandir, built in honor of the brave Indian soldier Baba Harbhajan Singh, who died near Nathula Pass due to extreme weather while carrying supplies. After the excursion, drive back to Gangtok for an overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, drive to Lachung (8,800 ft), a picturesque mountain village nestled amidst snow-capped peaks. Lachung is renowned for its waterfalls, sparkling streams, and orchards of apricot, peach, and apple trees, with the Lachung Chu River flowing through the village, dividing it into two. En route, halt at Singhik View Point to capture breathtaking views of Mount Siniolchu and the spectacular Seven Sisters Waterfall. Stop for lunch at Namok and later enjoy a tea break at Chungthang. Upon arrival in Lachung, check in to your hotel, freshen up, and relax. In the evening, explore Lachung Gompa, established in 1880 and set amidst scenic apple orchards. You can also visit the handicraft center to purchase beautifully woven blankets and rugs as souvenirs. Enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel and stay overnight.

Depart early in the morning for Yumthang Valley (11,800 ft), famously known as the ‘Valley of Flowers’. This breathtaking valley is enveloped in lush greenery, dotted with a variety of flowers and trees, and a charming river flowing through its heart. Along the way, observe yaks, goats, and horses grazing peacefully in the verdant meadows, creating a truly picturesque scene. After lunch, drive back to Gangtok, stopping en route to admire the Bheema and Twin Waterfalls. Upon arrival in Gangtok, check in to your hotel and relax. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, depart from Gangtok and drive to Pelling, an enchanting town in West Sikkim nestled amidst pine forests. The journey of over five hours is scenic and refreshing, passing through lush tea gardens, rolling hills, charming villages, and majestic mountains, offering plenty of opportunities for photographs and sightseeing along the way. Upon arrival in Pelling, soak in the spectacular views of the snow-capped Kanchenjunga, the third-highest peak in the world, which dominates the horizon with its majestic presence. Pelling is also home to several ancient monasteries, reflecting the rich spiritual and cultural heritage of Sikkim. Check in at your hotel, freshen up, and relax after the long drive. Spend the remainder of the day at leisure, exploring the nearby surroundings or simply enjoying the serene mountain ambiance. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, explore the captivating attractions of Pelling. Begin with the Kanchenjunga Waterfalls, a serene spot surrounded by lush greenery, perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation. Continue to the Sewaro Rock Garden, a tranquil and picturesque location filled with natural beauty. Next, visit Darap Valley, a scenic retreat where the fresh mountain air and breathtaking landscapes provide a refreshing experience. After a lunch break, continue sightseeing with Pelling’s other highlights, including the Pemayangtse Monastery, Helipad Ground, Rimbi Waterfalls, the sacred Khecheopalri Lake, and the historic Rabdentse Ruins, once the former capital of Sikkim. Return to your hotel in the evening for an overnight stay.

Start early from the hotel around 4:00 AM and drive to the magnificent Tiger Hill (2,590 m), the highest point in Darjeeling, to witness the stunning sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga. On the return journey, stop at the Batasia Loop, a scenic spiral railway track offering panoramic views, and visit the historic Ghoom Monastery. After breakfast, continue with a visit to the Japanese Temple, a notable Buddhist pilgrimage site known for its exquisite traditional Japanese architecture. Later, explore other key attractions of Darjeeling, including the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays), the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing Rock, Peace Pagoda, and an outer view of Chitrey Tea Garden. In the evening, enjoy a leisurely stroll along Mall Road and Chowrasta, soaking in the local charm and vibrant atmosphere. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB). Bid farewell to the enchanting hills of Sikkim and Darjeeling, taking with you cherished memories of a scenic and memorable journey.

- AC will not work in Hilly regions.
- We will not be held responsible for any delays in rail/airline leading to misconnecting of onward flights/train.
- If any airline/train is delayed or cancelled, Oxford Travels is not responsible for any compensation for hotels, meals, sightseeing or any other claim.
To book any Domestic Holiday or travel services, a person has to make an initial non-refundable deposit of Rs. 2,499/- per person. In case a person want to book air-tickets / train tickets as part of his tour package, 100% payment is required as the time of booking. Balance payment is to be paid at least 15 days prior to date of departure.
Cancellation Rules: Cancellations of a tour package must be intimated to us in writing / Email & cancellation charges applicable are as follows:
- 21 Days or more prior to the departure or non-payment of balance amount- Rs.2,499/- per person.
- 20-15 Days prior to the departure 25% of the tour cost.
- 14-07 Days prior to the departure of the tour 50% of the total tour cost.
- 07-04 Days prior to the departure of the tour 75% of the total tour cost.
- 03 Days prior or a “No Show” on the tour 100% of the total tour cost.
For the cancellation of services other than tour package (such as air-tickets/train-tickets/cruises/safaris, etc) booked with Oxford Travels will attract cancellation charges as per the policy of respective supplier of the services. Oxford Travels does not take responsibility for fees relating to the issuance and / or cancellation of air tickets or other arrangements not done through Oxford Travels.
