Welcome to Srinagar! Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to Patnitop. On the way, enjoy the scenic drive through lush valleys and picturesque landscapes of the region. If time permits, you can take a short stop to admire the natural beauty and take photographs. Check in at the hotel in Patnitop and relax for the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel in Patnitop.
After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg, the “Meadow of Wildflowers,” surrounded by snow-capped mountains with views of Nanga Parbat on clear days. Enjoy this premier winter sports destination, visit the world’s highest 18-hole golf course, and take an optional ride on the Gulmarg Gondola, Asia’s longest cable car (approx. 5 km) up to Khilanmarg. En route, stop at Tangmarg to explore local markets. Return to Srinagar in the evening for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, set out for a full-day excursion to Sonamarg, also known as the “Meadows of Gold,” situated 87 km northeast of Srinagar at an altitude of 3,000 meters above sea level. The drive is incredibly scenic, passing through dense pine forests, winding roads, and towering Himalayan peaks, making it a photographer’s delight. Sonamarg is a popular destination for nature lovers, mountaineers, and rock climbers. The area is famous for its pristine lakes, glaciers, and streams, and it also serves as the base for the Shri Amarnath Ji Cave, an important pilgrimage site. Spend time enjoying the natural beauty, taking short walks, or simply relaxing amid the serene surroundings. In the evening, return to Srinagar and check in at your hotel for an overnight stay.

These exquisite gardens, laid out in the 16th century by the great Mughals, are beautifully situated along the banks of Dal Lake in the heart of Srinagar, showcasing Mughal horticultural excellence. Next, visit the Shankaracharya Temple, perched on a hillock, offering panoramic views of Srinagar city, Dal Lake, and the Jhelum River. On the way, stop at local handloom centers, famous for producing Pashmina and Suits shawls, as well as world-renowned Kashmiri carpets. - In case we are not able to provide the same hotels as mentioned, then we shall provide similar alternate properties, change in the cost if any will be advised.
- Standard Hotel Check-in time is 1400 Hrs & Check-out time is 1100 Hrs.
- AC will not work in Hilly regions.
- We will not be held responsible for any delays in rail/airline leading to misconnecting of onward flights/train.
- If any airline/train is delayed or cancelled, Oxford Travels is not responsible for any compensation for hotels, meals, sightseeing or any other claim.
To book any Domestic Holiday or travel services, a person has to make an initial non-refundable deposit of Rs. 2,499/- per person. In case a person want to book air-tickets / train tickets as part of his tour package, 100% payment is required as the time of booking. Balance payment is to be paid at least 15 days prior to date of departure.
Cancellation Rules: Cancellations of a tour package must be intimated to us in writing / Email & cancellation charges applicable are as follows:
- 21 Days or more prior to the departure or non-payment of balance amount- Rs.2,499/- per person.
- 20-15 Days prior to the departure 25% of the tour cost.
- 14-07 Days prior to the departure of the tour 50% of the total tour cost.
- 07-04 Days prior to the departure of the tour 75% of the total tour cost.
- 03 Days prior or a “No Show” on the tour 100% of the total tour cost.
For the cancellation of services other than tour package (such as air-tickets/train-tickets/cruises/safaris, etc) booked with Oxford Travels will attract cancellation charges as per the policy of respective supplier of the services. Oxford Travels does not take responsibility for fees relating to the issuance and / or cancellation of air tickets or other arrangements not done through Oxford Travels.
