Leh
Arrive at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, Leh, situated at an altitude of 3,500 meters above sea level. Transfer to your hotel and enjoy breakfast before 9:30 AM. Spend the first half of the day at leisure to rest and acclimatize to the high altitude. After lunch at the hotel, proceed for a half-day sightseeing tour of Leh, visiting the serene Shanti Stupa and the historic Leh Palace. Later in the evening, take a leisurely walk around the local market to experience the vibrant culture and handicrafts of Leh. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

Leh

After breakfast, carry a packed lunch for the day and set out for a full-day excursion in the Ladakh region. Begin with a visit to the 1,000-year-old Alchi Monastery, the only gompa in Ladakh built on flat ground, renowned for its exquisite wall paintings and ancient Buddhist art. Next, proceed to the Likir Monastery, famous for the three-storey Dharma Wheel Gompa and its massive Buddha statues. Continue your journey along the Indus River, stopping at the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers, known as the Sangam. Enroute, visit Pathar Sahib Gurdwara and the intriguing Magnetic Hill, where vehicles appear to defy gravity. Also, drive past Basgo Palace (hiking only) and visit the Leh Hall of Fame, which houses a museum dedicated to the Kargil War. Return to Leh in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Leh
After breakfast, drive approximately 120 km (4–5 hours) to Nubra Valley via Khardung La, the highest motorable road in the world at 18,380 ft. Enjoy the breathtaking mountain views and dramatic landscapes along the way. Arrive at Hunder by afternoon and check in at your camp. After lunch, spend the rest of the day exploring Diskit and Hunder villages, and experience a camel safari on the sand dunes located between Diskit and Hunder. Return to the camp in the evening for overnight stay.

Leh
After breakfast, visit the Diskit Monastery, the oldest and largest monastery in Nubra Valley, renowned for its impressive statue of Maitreya Buddha and panoramic views of the valley. After exploring the monastery, drive back to Leh via the same route across Khardung La Pass, enjoying the dramatic mountain scenery along the way. Arrive in Leh by afternoon and spend the evening at leisure, exploring the Leh Market and experiencing the local culture. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

Nubra Valley
After an early breakfast, depart for Pangong Lake, situated at an altitude of 14,500 ft, traveling via Chang La Pass, which stands at 17,350 ft and is the third highest motorable road in the world. Upon arrival, marvel at the breathtaking high-altitude Pangong Lake, the world’s highest saltwater lake, shared between India and China. Spend time on the lake’s banks, enjoying the changing hues of the water and the serene mountain surroundings. Evening at leisure to soak in the natural beauty. After breakfast, depart from Pangong Lake and drive back to Leh, passing through the scenic Hemis region. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes along the way.
