Mysuru

After breakfast, proceed for a full day sightseeing tour of Mysore. Begin with a visit to Chamundi Hill, a sacred hill offering panoramic views of the city and home to the famous Chamundeshwari Temple dedicated to Goddess Chamundi. Continue to the Mysore Zoo, one of the oldest and well-maintained zoos in India, housing a wide variety of animals and birds. Later visit St. Philomena's Cathedral, a magnificent Neo-Gothic style church and one of the largest churches in India. Proceed to Sri Jayachamarajendra Art Gallery, which houses a fine collection of paintings, musical instruments, and rare artifacts. You will also visit the grand Lalitha Mahal Palace, a beautiful royal palace known for its elegant architecture. In the evening, visit the famous Brindavan Gardens, renowned for its beautifully landscaped gardens and the spectacular musical color fountain show. After sightseeing, return to the hotel. In the evening, proceed for local sightseeing and visit the picturesque Ooty Lake, where visitors can enjoy boating amidst serene surroundings. To book any Domestic Holiday or travel services, a person has to make an initial non-refundable deposit of Rs. 2,499/- per person. In case a person want to book air-tickets / train tickets as part of his tour package, 100% payment is required as the time of booking. Balance payment is to be paid at least 15 days prior to date of departure. 

Cancellation Rules: Cancellations of a tour package must be intimated to us in writing / Email & cancellation charges applicable are as follows: 

  • 21 Days or more prior to the departure or non-payment of balance amount- Rs.2,499/- per person.
  • 20-15 Days prior to the departure 25% of the tour cost.
  • 14-07 Days prior to the departure of the tour 50% of the total tour cost.
  • 07-04 Days prior to the departure of the tour 75% of the total tour cost.
  • 03 Days prior or a “No Show” on the tour 100% of the total tour cost.

For the cancellation of services other than tour package (such as air-tickets/train-tickets/cruises/safaris, etc) booked with Oxford Travels will attract cancellation charges as per the policy of respective supplier of the services. Oxford Travels does not take responsibility for fees relating to the issuance and / or cancellation of air tickets or other arrangements not done through Oxford Travels.

  • You will receive the Booking Confirmation with flight ticket within 24 hours of the payment made.  
  • Rooms and rates are subject to availability at the time of booking.
  • Flight and hotel fares may change at any point in time.
