After breakfast, drive to Mysore, stopping en route at Srirangapatna, the historic capital of warrior king Hyder Ali and his son Tipu Sultan, known for its magnificent monuments. Upon arrival in Mysore, check in to your hotel and relax. Later, visit the Mysore Palace, one of India’s grandest palaces. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Mysore.
Sightseeing Included
After breakfast, proceed for a full day sightseeing tour of Mysore. Begin with a visit to Chamundi Hill, a sacred hill offering panoramic views of the city and home to the famous Chamundeshwari Temple dedicated to Goddess Chamundi. Continue to the Mysore Zoo, one of the oldest and well-maintained zoos in India, housing a wide variety of animals and birds. Later visit St. Philomena's Cathedral, a magnificent Neo-Gothic style church and one of the largest churches in India. Proceed to Sri Jayachamarajendra Art Gallery, which houses a fine collection of paintings, musical instruments, and rare artifacts. You will also visit the grand Lalitha Mahal Palace, a beautiful royal palace known for its elegant architecture. In the evening, visit the famous Brindavan Gardens, renowned for its beautifully landscaped gardens and the spectacular musical color fountain show. After sightseeing, return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Mysore.

After breakfast, drive to the beautiful hill station of Ooty, popularly known as the “Queen of Hill Stations.” Enjoy the scenic journey through lush green hills and winding roads. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and relax. The afternoon is free for rest and leisure. In the evening, proceed for local sightseeing and visit the picturesque Ooty Lake, where visitors can enjoy boating amidst serene surroundings. Later visit the beautiful Government Rose Garden, which features a vast collection of colorful and exotic varieties of roses. After sightseeing, return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Ooty.

After breakfast, visit Doddabetta Peak, the highest point in Ooty, offering panoramic views of the Nilgiri Hills and surrounding valleys. Later, proceed to the beautifully landscaped Government Botanical Garden, home to a wide variety of exotic plants, flowers, and a fossilized tree believed to be millions of years old. In the afternoon, take a short drive (19 km) to the charming hill station of Coonoor, famous for its lush tea gardens. Visit Lamb's Rock, a scenic viewpoint overlooking the Nilgiri Hills, and Dolphin's Nose, a unique rock formation offering breathtaking valley views. After sightseeing, return to Ooty. Continue to the dramatic Pillar Rocks, a set of three giant rock formations surrounded by mist and greenery. Visit the Green Valley View, also known as Suicide Point, providing breathtaking views of the plains below. Next, explore Bryant Park, a beautifully maintained botanical garden with vibrant flowers and plants. Continue to Upper Lake View Point and Suicide Point for stunning vistas. Visit the Telescope House and the Solar Observatory, a historic observatory offering insights into astronomy and solar studies. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing boat ride on Kodai Lake, surrounded by lush greenery and misty hills. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kodaikanal.

To book any Domestic Holiday or travel services, a person has to make an initial non-refundable deposit of Rs. 2,499/- per person. In case a person want to book air-tickets / train tickets as part of his tour package, 100% payment is required as the time of booking. Balance payment is to be paid at least 15 days prior to date of departure.
Cancellation Rules: Cancellations of a tour package must be intimated to us in writing / Email & cancellation charges applicable are as follows:
- 21 Days or more prior to the departure or non-payment of balance amount- Rs.2,499/- per person.
- 20-15 Days prior to the departure 25% of the tour cost.
- 14-07 Days prior to the departure of the tour 50% of the total tour cost.
- 07-04 Days prior to the departure of the tour 75% of the total tour cost.
- 03 Days prior or a “No Show” on the tour 100% of the total tour cost.
For the cancellation of services other than tour package (such as air-tickets/train-tickets/cruises/safaris, etc) booked with Oxford Travels will attract cancellation charges as per the policy of respective supplier of the services. Oxford Travels does not take responsibility for fees relating to the issuance and / or cancellation of air tickets or other arrangements not done through Oxford Travels.
- You will receive the Booking Confirmation with flight ticket within 24 hours of the payment made.
