Housed in a building built in 1846, the Customs House Hotel is located in front of the Derwent River and home to one of Hobarts oldest pubs. The property is located in the heart of the Waterfront precinct. Free WiFi is available throughout the accommodation.
Customs House Hotel is a 2-minute walk to the Salamanca Markets, MONA Ferry, Tasmanian Museum & Art Gallery and a 5-minute walk to the CBD.
Each of the 30 refurbished rooms are fitted with a small bar fridge, tea/coffee making facilities and a TV. The en suite bathroom comes with shower and a hairdryer.
Customs House Hotel Restaurant is known for its seafood specialities. Luggage storage facilities are provided. A guest laundry is available on the first floor.
CAR PARK ($20/night) : due to our central location, car parking facilities are very limited. If you require car parking, please contact the hotel to reserve it in-advance as it is subject to avaialbility.
LATE ARRIVALS: We are not open 24 hours. If you are arriving past 8pm, please inform the hotel directly.
STAIRS: We do have a lift but there are stairs leading to most rooms. This can range for 10-12 stairs or a full flight of stairs as the lift doesnt go to level 3. Please let us know ahead of time if you need a room without stairs Please note that there is a 1.65% charge when you pay with a Credit/Debit Card.
Please note that we are in the busiest area of Hobart so it is possible that you will encounter some noise during your stay with us. We do everything we can to minimise the impact of this noise but cannot guarantee that your room will be silent.
Please note parking is not available at certain times of the year due to event restrictions in the area. A reservation request is recommended to avoid disappointment.
