Activity Policies
- Entry: The Upper Düden Waterfall area, including the cave passage behind the waterfall, is a paid visitor attraction. The current admission amount should be confirmed with the site operator before visiting.
- Booking: Advance booking is generally not required for a standard visit. Organized groups or tours may have separate booking arrangements.
- Opening Hours: Visiting hours and cave access should be confirmed before visiting, as the current official operating schedule can vary.
- Duration: Allow approximately 1–2 hours for the Upper Düden area, depending on walking, photography, and time spent around the waterfall and cave.
- Cave Access: The main feature is the passage/cave located behind the waterfall, offering views of the falling water from inside the rock formation.
- Photography: Photography and video recording are generally permitted for personal use, subject to any restrictions or instructions at the site.
- Accessibility: The cave route includes steps and uneven surfaces, and accessibility may therefore be limited for visitors with reduced mobility.
- Safety: The cave and surrounding paths can become wet and slippery because of spray and water. Visitors should use suitable footwear and follow safety signs and staff instructions.
- Weather Conditions: Although the cave is sheltered, outdoor paths and access to the waterfall can be affected by rain and other weather conditions.
- Visitor Conduct: Visitors should remain on designated paths and avoid climbing, damaging, or interfering with the natural rock formations and waterfall environment.
- Cancellation/Refund: For independent admission, cancellation/refund conditions depend on the ticket purchased and the operator's applicable terms. If included in a paid excursion, the tour operator's cancellation and refund policy applies.
- Changes to Access: Cave access or parts of the visitor route may be temporarily restricted because of safety, maintenance, water conditions, or operational requirements.
- Important: Upper Düden is located in Kepez, Antalya, and is distinct from Lower Düden, which is on the coast toward Lara.
