Activity Overview

United Nations Office at Geneva (UN Geneva) is one of the United Nations’ most important international centres and is housed in the historic Palais des Nations, located in the beautiful Ariana Park. The Palais was originally built as the headquarters of the League of Nations and today serves as a major centre for international diplomacy, cooperation, and global discussions.

Visitors can discover the Palais des Nations, historic conference rooms, Assembly Hall, Ariana Park, and the renovated celestial sphere through guided tours. The tours provide insight into the history of the building, the work of the United Nations in Geneva, international cooperation, and the Sustainable Development Goals.

The experience is enhanced by historic architecture, international heritage, diplomatic conference spaces, beautiful gardens, and fascinating insights into the work of the United Nations, making UN Geneva a memorable highlight of any Geneva and Switzerland tour with Oxford Travels.
