The Musée d’Orsay is one of Paris’s most celebrated art museums, located along the River Seine, opposite the Tuileries Garden. The museum occupies the former Gare d’Orsay, a grand railway station built for the 1900 Universal Exhibition, making the historic building itself an important part of the visitor experience.

  3. Timed Entry: Where a timed ticket is required, visitors should arrive within the time indicated on their ticket.
  4. Security Checks: Visitors and belongings may be subject to security screening before entry.
  5. Baggage Restrictions: Large luggage and certain bulky items are not permitted. Cloakroom facilities are subject to availability and applicable restrictions.

  12. Cancellation by Customer: Cancellation and refund conditions depend on the ticket type and booking channel. Tickets that are specifically stated as non-refundable cannot be refunded.
  13. Cancellation by Museum: If the museum cancels or cannot provide the booked visit, refund or alternative arrangements are subject to the applicable ticket conditions.
  14. No-Show: Failure to arrive within the applicable admission conditions for a reserved visit may result in loss of the booking and may be non-refundable.
  15. Personal Belongings: Visitors are responsible for their belongings. The museum is not generally responsible for loss, theft or damage.
  16. Liability: The museum may modify access, opening hours or visitor arrangements for safety, operational, security or exceptional circumstances.
Cancellation Policy
For group bookings, cancellations made at least 30 days before the scheduled visit are eligible for a refund of the amount paid, less the applicable advance/deposit. For cancellations made less than 30 days before the visit, all amounts paid are non-refundable. Confirmed visit slots cannot be postponed and require a new booking.
