- Cruises operate according to the operator’s published timetable and sailing conditions.
- Boarding generally requires a valid ticket and passengers should arrive before the scheduled departure.
- Cruise routes and sailing times may vary depending on the season and operational conditions.
- Services can be altered, delayed or cancelled due to adverse weather, water conditions or operational reasons.
- Passengers must follow the crew's safety instructions throughout the cruise.
- Children should remain under adult supervision.
- Wheelchair, mobility assistance and pet policies vary according to the individual cruise operator and vessel.
- Food, drinks and other items may be subject to the operator's onboard rules.
Terms & Conditions
- Pre-booked tickets are date-specific and are valid from the named pier for the selected cruise journey. Customers are advised to arrive at least 20 minutes before departure.
- Tickets are generally non-transferable and non-refundable, except where the cruise service is cancelled by the operator.
- A 10% administration charge may apply when amending bookings within 48 hours, and a 10% administration fee applies to cancellations.
- A 4% processing fee applies to online ticket purchases.
- Seating is not allocated on board. Passengers should wear clothing appropriate for the weather.
- Cruises operate subject to weather, lake conditions and operational requirements. Timetables and vessels may be changed, and sailings may be cancelled without prior notice.
- If a cruise is cancelled because of bad weather, mechanical breakdown or another unforeseen operational problem, the ticket is refundable in accordance with the operator's cancellation provisions.
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and children under 5 must remain close to their parent or guardian.
- Smoking and e-cigarettes are prohibited on the boats and piers.
- Passengers must board and disembark only through designated gangways and follow crew instructions and safety announcements.
- The operator may refuse boarding or remove a passenger without refund where behaviour threatens the safety or enjoyment of other passengers, staff or the vessel.
Cancellation Policy
Lake District Cruise tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable and are valid only for the date, time and service specified at the time of purchase. If a sailing is cancelled or significantly altered by the operator due to weather, safety or other operational circumstances, any applicable refund will be provided in accordance with the operator's terms and conditions.
