Activity Policies
- The Kremlin Wall is part of the Moscow Kremlin complex and access to areas within the Kremlin is subject to the applicable admission ticket and visitor regulations.
- Visitors must pass through security screening when entering the Kremlin grounds.
- Visitors must follow instructions from Kremlin staff and security personnel.
- Climbing, touching or causing damage to the historic walls, towers or other monuments is prohibited.
- Photography may be permitted in designated areas, subject to current Kremlin regulations.
- Large luggage and prohibited items may not be allowed inside the complex.
- Access to certain areas can be restricted because of official events, ceremonies, security measures or restoration work.
- Visitors should remain within designated visitor routes and respect restricted areas.

- Access to the Kremlin Wall/Necropolis is subject to the applicable Kremlin admission arrangements and security controls.
- Visitors must follow instructions from Kremlin staff and security personnel at all times.
- Visitors are not permitted to enter fenced-off areas or areas closed to visitors.
- Alcoholic beverages are prohibited, and entry while intoxicated or disturbing public order is not permitted.
- Bicycles, scooters, roller skates and similar transport or sports equipment are prohibited within the Kremlin territory.
- Visitors must not write on, damage or deface surfaces, monuments or buildings.
- Commercial activities, unauthorised ticket sales and unauthorised guided tours are prohibited.
- Visitors must not use amplified audio equipment, sing, dance or play musical instruments in the Kremlin territory.
- Luggage or objects that may soil or damage monuments/buildings are not permitted, and visitors must not litter.
- Smoking, including electronic cigarettes, pipes, cigars, chewing tobacco and snuff, is prohibited throughout the Kremlin territory.
- Visitors must respect the Kremlin Wall Necropolis and memorial areas and must not interfere with memorial structures.
- Photography and filming are subject to the current Kremlin visitor rules; commercial photography or filming may require separate authorisation.
- Access may be restricted or changed without prior notice because of official events, security measures, ceremonies, maintenance or other operational requirements.
- If the Kremlin Wall/Necropolis is included in a ticketed Kremlin Museums visit, the cancellation, refund and ticket-change conditions applicable to that particular ticket will apply.

Cancellation and refund conditions for tickets to the Moscow Kremlin are subject to the terms applicable to the specific ticket and booking. Visitors are advised to check the official ticketing conditions at the time of purchase. Refunds or changes may be subject to the applicable rules of the Kremlin Museums.
