- Entry: Karri forests are natural forest areas across Western Australia. Entry is generally free, although some parks, attractions, or visitor experiences within the forest may require an admission fee.
- Booking: No booking is normally required for general forest visits. Guided tours, accommodation, or specific attractions may require advance reservations.
- Opening Hours: Forest areas are generally accessible during daylight hours, while individual parks, visitor centres, and attractions may have their own operating hours.
- Duration: Visitors can spend 2–4 hours or a full day exploring forest roads, walking trails, lookouts, picnic areas, and nearby attractions.
- Photography: Photography and video recording are generally permitted for personal use. Commercial photography may require permission.
- Walking Trails: Visitors should remain on designated walking tracks and follow trail signs and park regulations.
- Accessibility: Accessibility varies considerably between forest locations. Some trails may have uneven ground, slopes, steps, or natural obstacles.
- Safety: Visitors should follow park safety instructions, remain aware of falling branches, uneven terrain, and changing weather, and carry sufficient drinking water.
- Fire Safety: Visitors must follow all bushfire warnings, fire restrictions, and park regulations. Fires and barbecues are permitted only where officially designated and when conditions allow.
- Wildlife & Environment: Visitors should not feed or disturb wildlife, damage vegetation, or remove plants, wood, rocks, or other natural materials.
- Cancellation: Not applicable for general forest access. If a visit is part of a paid tour or activity, the tour operator's cancellation and refund policy applies.
- Changes to Access: Roads, trails, picnic areas, or sections of the forest may be temporarily closed because of bushfires, storms, maintenance, conservation work, or safety concerns.
- Important: Western Australia's karri forests are particularly associated with the South West region, where visitors can experience towering karri trees, scenic forest landscapes, walking trails, and nature-based activities.

- Visitors must follow the instructions of Parks and Wildlife staff, rangers and local authorities.
- Visitors must remain on designated walking tracks, roads and approved visitor areas.
- Visitors must not damage, cut, carve or interfere with karri trees, native vegetation or other natural features.
- Littering, vandalism and pollution are prohibited.
- Visitors must not feed, chase, capture or deliberately disturb native wildlife.
- Camping, fires, barbecues and other activities are permitted only in designated areas and where authorised.
- Visitors must comply with all fire restrictions and total fire bans that may be in effect.
- Certain roads, walking trails, picnic areas or forest sections may be temporarily closed because of bushfires, extreme weather, maintenance, logging controls, conservation work or safety concerns.
- Visitors should exercise caution around falling branches, uneven ground, slippery surfaces and steep sections.
- Children must remain under the supervision of an accompanying adult.
- Visitors should carry suitable water, sun protection and appropriate footwear, particularly for longer walks.
- Cycling and vehicle access are permitted only on authorised routes and subject to applicable regulations.
- Photography for personal use is generally permitted, provided it does not disturb wildlife or damage the environment.
- Commercial photography, professional filming or organised photo shoots may require prior permission.
- Visitors must respect Aboriginal cultural heritage sites and protected areas.
- Visitors are responsible for their personal belongings and safety.
- Entrance fees may apply to specific national parks, attractions, tours or facilities, while other forest areas may be freely accessible.
- Cancellation and refund conditions apply to separately booked tours, accommodation, activities or park facilities, according to the relevant provider.
- If the Karri Forests are included in an organised Western Australia tour, the tour operator's cancellation and refund policy will apply.
- If a tour is cancelled or modified because of weather, bushfire risk, road closures, conservation requirements or other safety reasons, refund or alternative arrangements will be handled according to the operator's terms.
- Late arrival or failure to join a booked tour may result in loss of the booking without refund, subject to the operator's conditions.
Cancellation Policy
Karri Forests are natural forest areas and do not generally require an admission ticket or reservation for general sightseeing. Therefore, no separate attraction-specific cancellation or refund policy applies to visiting the forests. If a Karri Forests visit is included as part of a guided tour, excursion, or travel package, the cancellation and refund conditions of the respective booking or service provider will apply.
