- Booking: Advance booking is strongly recommended, particularly during peak travel periods, as flights have limited capacity.
- Departure Time: Flights generally take place around sunrise, with hotel pickup commonly taking place very early in the morning.
- Duration: Standard flights generally last at least one hour; longer/special flights may last approximately 75–90 minutes.
- Weather Conditions: Flights are subject to aviation and weather conditions. Strong winds or unsuitable weather may result in delay, rescheduling, or cancellation.
- Safety: Passengers must follow the pilot and crew's safety instructions throughout the flight. Balloon operations in Cappadocia are regulated by SHGM for flight and ground safety.
- Photography: Photography is generally permitted during the flight, subject to the pilot's safety instructions.
- Children & Passenger Restrictions: Age, health, mobility, and other passenger requirements may vary by balloon operator. These conditions should be confirmed before booking.
- Accessibility: Balloon baskets and launch/landing areas may not be suitable for all passengers, particularly those with significant mobility limitations.
- Cancellation/Refund: Cancellation and refund conditions depend on the specific balloon operator and ticket purchased. Weather-related cancellation should be handled according to the operator's applicable terms.
- No-Fly Guarantee: Seeing the balloons from the ground or completing the flight cannot be guaranteed because operations depend on weather and aviation safety conditions.

Terms & Conditions
- The balloon flight is valid for the date, time and package specified on the booking.
- Passengers should be ready at the designated hotel pickup point at the time advised by the operator.
- Hotel transfers, breakfast or other inclusions are provided only if specifically included in the selected package.
- Flight operation is subject to weather and aviation safety conditions. The pilot and/or authorised aviation authorities have the final decision on whether the flight can operate.
- The flight may be delayed, postponed, shortened or cancelled because of wind, visibility, temperature, weather forecasts or other aviation safety considerations.
- A balloon flight cannot be guaranteed solely because it has been booked or paid for.
- If the flight is cancelled by the operator because of unsafe weather conditions, rescheduling or refund arrangements will depend on the operator's published policy.
- Passengers must follow all pilot, crew and ground-staff safety instructions before and during the flight.
- Passengers must comply with applicable aviation safety and security requirements.
- Certain passengers may be restricted from flying because of age, pregnancy, mobility limitations or other safety considerations, according to the operator and applicable aviation regulations.
- Children must meet the minimum age/height requirements specified by the balloon operator and remain under appropriate adult supervision.
- Passengers should wear comfortable clothing and suitable closed footwear; mornings can be cold, even during warmer seasons.
- Loose items and baggage may be restricted or prohibited during the flight for safety reasons.
- Passengers should not interfere with balloon equipment, burners, baskets or other operational equipment.
- Photography is generally permitted during the flight, provided it does not interfere with safety procedures.
- The actual flight duration, altitude and route are subject to weather, air-traffic conditions and pilot decisions.
- The operator may use a different balloon, pilot, launch location or vehicle when operationally necessary.
- Late arrival or failure to be ready for pickup/boarding may result in loss of the booking without refund, depending on the operator's terms.
- Cancellation by the traveller is subject to the specific cancellation deadline and charges stated on the booking confirmation.
- If the operator cancels the flight for safety reasons, the applicable refund or rescheduling policy will apply.
- If the balloon flight is booked through Oxford Travels, the package's cancellation conditions may apply in addition to the local balloon operator's terms.
- Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation and refund conditions for the Cappadocia Hot Air Balloon Tour are subject to the terms of the selected balloon operator. Customers should review the applicable cancellation conditions at the time of booking. If the flight is cancelled due to adverse weather or an official aviation safety decision, passengers are generally offered a full refund or rescheduling to another available date, subject to the operator's terms. If the tour is booked as part of a guided tour or travel package, the cancellation and refund conditions of the respective booking will apply.
