- Opening Hours: The Great Theatre follows the operating hours of the Ephesus Archaeological Site. The official museum website currently lists 08:00–18:45, with the site open every day.
- Duration: Visitors can explore and view the theatre as part of their Ephesus visit, according to the permitted visiting hours.
- Photography: Photography and video recording are generally permitted for personal use, subject to archaeological-site rules.
- Visitor Conduct: Visitors must remain on designated visitor routes and must not climb, touch, damage, or remove archaeological remains.
- Accessibility: The theatre and surrounding Ephesus site contain steps, stone surfaces, slopes, and uneven terrain, so accessibility may be limited in some areas.

- Weather Conditions: Much of the Ephesus visit is outdoors, so heat, strong sun, rain, or other weather conditions may affect the experience.

- The theatre and surrounding site contain uneven stone surfaces, stairs and steep sections; comfortable, non-slip footwear is recommended.
- Visitors should exercise additional caution during hot weather, rain or slippery conditions.
- Children must remain under the supervision of an accompanying adult.
- Photography for personal use is generally permitted, subject to site-specific restrictions.
- Commercial photography, professional filming or organised photo shoots may require prior permission.
- Visitors should maintain respectful behaviour and must not disturb other visitors or archaeological activities.
- Littering, vandalism and removal of archaeological materials are prohibited.
- Certain areas of Ephesus, including sections of the theatre, may be temporarily closed for restoration, archaeological work, maintenance, weather or safety reasons.

The Great Theatre is an ancient monument within the Ephesus archaeological site and does not have a separate cancellation or refund policy. Access is subject to the applicable Ephesus entrance ticket and Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism ticketing conditions. If the Great Theatre is included as part of a guided tour, excursion, or travel package, the cancellation and refund conditions of the respective booking will apply.
