DINING & BARS:
At
Cape Panwa, you need not dine in the same restaurant day in and
day out. We have a variety of restaurants, each is different in
style and menu served. The Cafe Andaman overlooks the hilltop swimming
pool. Panwa House is a lone mansion amidst the coconut plantation
right on the beach, and serves authentic Thai cuisine.
Top of the Reef is almost at the edge of a cliff, offering elegant
dining; the Otter's Bar with live music is connected to the top
of the reef. On the hillside is the Light House Pub where you can
drink, enjoy the band and be nautical. Alternatively, go over the
hill, into Panwa Bay Village and meet the locals. We recommended
Uncle Nan's which has an upstairs terrace; perfect for watching
a tropical sunset.
Clock
House pavilion in an outdoor courtyard at Panwa Village serves light
meals and cool drinks throughout the day while you watch the world
go by. Laem Panwa Restaurant, overlooking the waters of Panwa Bay,
specializes in fresh, barbecued seafood served under the stars and
is extremely good value & popular with the local islanders.

ACCOMMODATION:
At
Cape Panwa Hotel we offer superior rooms, suites, 2 bedroom bungalows,
and a 3 bedroom villa with a private swimming pool. Each room faces
the sea and has a large balcony.
From
the hill top accommodations, follow a footpath down to our secluded
beach, or take the hotel's own tram. Only Panwa House of old stands
on this beach amidst tall palms. Stroll around the plantation, walk
the shoreline, swim over to the coral reefs, or go to our boat pier
to fish. Panwa Princess leaves from this pier every morning for
the nearby coral island, and returns on the same afternoon.

may swim, snorkel on the coral reefs, windsurf, row or sail from
our own beach. There is also a boat pier where the various yachts
and boats cast off frequently to nearby islands, and where local
fishermen are glad to take you out on private trips in their long
tail boats. On land, the hotel's facilities included two Swimming
Pools, at the main building and at the beach, a Tennis Court, an
equipped Exercise Rood, and a Games Room that has a special children's
corner. Alternatively, just laze around on the beach doing nothing.
Parents need not to be concerned about cars, because at Cape Panwa
there are no roads by the beach. |
