LOCATION: Pangkor
Island Beach Resort Resort Pangkor Island, located off the coast
of Lumut in the state of Perak, is among the more popular beach
resorts in the country. The journey to Lumut from Kuala Lumpur takes
approximately 3 hours via the coastal road or the North-south Expressway.
From the North-south Expressway, exit at Bidor junction and drive
towards Teluk Intan. On leaving Teluk Intan, head towards Sitiawan
and then onwards to Lumut. From Lumut it is a short 30 minutes ferry
to the resort.
Alternatively,
one can take a 45 minutes flight from Subang Airport via Berjaya
Air. Flights are daily except Tuesdays and Thursdays (one flight
per day).
RESTAURANT
:Meals are an important part of the Pan Pacific Resort
Pangkor Island. With Asian, Continental, Malaysian and Western
fare, there is a myriad of choice at the Hornbill Terrace Restaurant
and Pacific Terrace. The Golden Oriole Lobby Lounge and the
Golden Oriole Bar provide excellent entertainment, whilst the
Kingfisher Pool Bar and the Pacific Terrace Bar are ideal places
to unwind. The Sunset Dinner on the Beach is available on request,
and is a must with its speciality seafood barbecue.
If your idea of fun involves eating copious amounts of fine
food, drinking gallons of fantastically titled beverages, listening
to live music, dancing and generally letting yourself go, then

The Golden Oriole Lobby Lounge and Bar With a spectacular
bay view, the Lobby Lounge and Bar specialises in local and
international beers. Popular award winning cocktails are also
served. An evening at the open air Lobby Lounge promises to
be an enjoyable outing with live entertainment. Local newspapers
available for your reading pleasure in the lounge whilst there
are karaoke facilities in the bar. Located on the 1st floor.
Kingfisher Pool Bar A pool side bar where guests can
relax and take in the breathtaking scenery of the rich flora,
fauna and beautiful sun kissed beach whilst relishing tropical
cocktails and snacks. Located in the Central Wing. |

Pangkor
Island Beach Resort has 240 rooms including suites, chalets and
bungalows. Combining traditional Malaysian architecture with Southeast
Asian style furnishing and modern conveniences, each room offers
spectacular ocean views or pockets of greenery. Available in the
Garden Wing of the resort are 43 deluxe rooms, whilst in the Sea
Wing there are 98. Also available are eight chalets, four Houses
on the Rocks, two suites and a bungalow.
All
rooms have a private balcony affording spectacular sea or tropical
garden views and are well appointed with modern comforts and amenities
featuring private bath/shower, hairdryer, minibar/mini refrigerator,

The House on the Rocks There are four units comprising
The House on the Rocks, often better known as The Rockies, which
are the ultimate in luxury and pampering. The Rockies offer upscale
island style bungalows, perched high on stilts located on the
water. Situated on a secluded part of the beach the intimate,
exclusive Rockies provide a truly romantic setting.
Pacific Wing The Pacific Wing offers 81 Deluxe Rooms, with
sea views, and three Suites. Why not snuggle up in a four poster
bed on rustic floors of the Pacific Wing and enjoy all the comforts

Angsana Room II measures 14.0 metres by 10.0 metres,
