Lumpur's attractions are diverse. Minutes away from Carcosa Seri
Negara is the comprehensive National Museum and a short drive from
there is the Islamic Arts Museum. Give yourself a one-hour leisurely
stroll from the Art Gallery to Tuanku Abdul Rahman Street to peruse
the fascinating architecture, combination of Victorian-Gothic-Arabic
built in the early 1900s. The National Mosque is open to visitors
as are Chinese and Indian temples.

Mahsuri Dining Hall : Room offers French cuisine prepared
from the finest ingredients flown in from around the world.
The elegant majestic dining room over looks the sweeping verandah
of the verdant gardens beyond.
The Gulai House The Gulai House at Carcosa Seri Negara
serves Malay cuisine in a less formal environment. Guests coming
to the century-old colonial building-turned hotel, are able
to enjoy varieties of local delights in the newly refurbished
Seri Negara mansion.
Titiwangsa Bar : Adjacent to Mahsuri Dining room, is
the cool oasis of Titiwangsa Bar, finished in rich warm timber
with its cane chairs, ceiling fans, cigar humidors, and warm
colonial mood. |

ACCOMMODATION : The suites are decorated in Victorian style, and the
décor, furniture and fittings are selected to replicate the very
best from the Victorian era. The décor is indeed luxurious. Marble
from island of Langkawi was used for the bathrooms, and the basins
are lined with gold-plated accessories. Many of the carpets are
handmade and the wall adorned with local paintings and batik. Furniture
is specially commissioned and complimented with local antiques.

Guests check-in to the hotel will be collected by their personal

MEETING : Carcosa Seri Negara has five main function rooms for
conferences, meetings, seminars, banquets, or private dining.
Audio-visual equipment includes LCD projector, capel microphones,
speaker system and background music (PAL/ SECAM/ NTSC), slide-sound
equipment, overhead projectors and whiteboards.
Whichever the occasion The Grande Marquée is the perfect venue
for weddings, buffets or product launches. The interior can
be designed to accomodate any number of occasions and themes.

Freshwater swimming pool and whirlpool. One hard-surface, floodlit
tennis court. Racquets are available to guests free of charge.
Jogging track on the grounds and 7 mile track within 70-hectare
nearby Lake Gardens. Several golf courses are located just a
short drive away. Golf packages, equipment and transfers are
available.
Golf specific information: Carcosa Seri Negara is proud
to be able to offer “effortless- golfing” in association with
Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club, and Saujana Golf and Country
Club. All arrangements for green fees and play on the course
will be made for you in advance by your butler. Caddies, buggies
and professional coaching can be arranged to suit individual
needs and handicap abilities. Billing of green fees will be
made to the hotel with transfers.
Lawn & Garden : Facilities are available for corporate
events, weddings, garden parties, fashion shows, and special
events on the lawns and gardens surrounding Carcosa and Seri
Negara mansions. Marquee setting is available for 380 people.
