Less than 10 minutes drive away is the historical village of Mahebourg with its well-known Naval Museum.

A white sand beach and the crystal clear turquoise lagoon of Blue Bay surround the hotel. The bay is home for the "Coral Garden" a wonderful snorkelling area that is a Nature Reserve. Not long from the hotel you find Ile Aigrettes, a 5-hectare islet consisting of an old calcareous coral reef partially overlain by sand and soil deposits. It is an internationally important site as it was declared a nature reserve in 1965. Many of the plants found there grow nowhere else in the world.
